Download lossless sound

The recordings we provide contain all the detail, all the expression and all the ambience the artist wanted you to hear. The same details and expression that are ignored and flattened by lossy formats such as MP3. Listen and you'll see.

Please remember the better the recording, the larger the file size.

Today, there are many ways to listen to music, so we have given you a choice of three file formats to suit your listening habits. These are AIFF, FLAC and ALAC.

AIFF 24-bit 48-96 KHz (Studio master sound quality)

Audio Interchange File Format, or AIFF for short is the highest quality available from Society of Sound. Indistinguishable from the studio master, the files are uncompressed for optimal listening quality and are compatible with Windows Media Player, iTunes, VLC Player and most other media players.

FLAC 24-bit, 48-96 kHz (Compressed, studio master sound quality)

The format most familiar with audiophiles, FLAC is compressed to keep file sizes relatively small, but without compromising much of the sound quality. It is compatible with most media players, yet cannot be played on iTunes or other Apple products.

ALAC 16-bit, 44.1 kHz (CD sound quality)

A format developed by Apple, Apple Lossless Audio Codec (or ALAC) is the sonic equivalent of listening to CD quality recordings, and like FLAC, it is compressed. ALAC works with Apple products like iTunes, the iPod and the iPhone as well as being supported by a number of other hardware and software players.
